Flowerchild Vintage - Columbus, OH

Sorry, I've been too cold/poor/rushed to dress well lately (bad excuses, I know!). But I ventured down to Columbus this past week for the DEAFair at the Expo Center and stopped by a lovely little shop in Short North I thought you guys might be interested in :)

    I wish we had shops like this in the UK. Charity shops just aren't up to the standard of US thrift/vintage stores, it makes me very sad!

    I've noticed that vintage shops overwhelm me. I'll usually leave with one or two little things, but I tend to resist buying a ton. I think it's something about having all of that vintage in one spot-- it takes the fun out of the hunt or something! Although I do LOVE going to vintage shops because they always look amazing.

    oh my gosh! i want everything! i love that it's not all prestine and organized, hehe, i love that they don't just have clothes too, knick knacks and bric-a-brac is where it's at! :) did you end up buying anything? good to see you're back!

    There is also a Flowerchild in Lakewood, OH. It's a great place, obviously... vintage galour! It's also the priciest vintage shop I have ever been to.

    where do you live?? i just found you through weardrobe - i'm just south of cleveland, and we've got a flowerchild up here but the one in columbus is SO much better... i have a friend at OSU and every time i visit him we make a stop in there...

I think it's something about having all of that classic in one spot-- it requires the fun out of the look or something! Although I do LOVE going to classic stores because they always look awesome.
